AACIDs most recent ATN RFP update

In the summer of 2023, the ATN Memorandum of Agreement was signed among MARTA, Fulton County, Clayton County, City of College Park, AWCID, and ASCID to establish a Governance Committee overseeing the Financial Feasibility Study and ATN Demonstration Pilot. This committee, comprising representatives from each party, will collaborate to identify funding sources and participate in constructing an Automated Transit Network (ATN) pilot. Scheduled to begin with an RFP process in summer 2023, the pilot aims to assess ATN's viability as a transit alternative, gather ridership data, establish operational procedures, and evaluate system reliability for potential larger-scale deployment. MARTA has pledged $10 million towards the pilot's $20 million projected cost, with the selected vendor through the RFP process expected to cover the remaining expenses. The pilot site is proposed to be located at the Georgia International Convention Center, while MARTA will lead a $3 million Financial Feasibility study for the Corporate Crescent.

**Ridership and event information for the GICC can be found in Appendix A of the Resources.
