Northwest Clayton LCI Study

The Airport South Community Improvement District (hereafter referred to as “ASCID”), is partnering with the Atlanta Regional Commission (hereafter referred to as “ARC”) to complete the Northwest Clayton Livable Centers Initiative (LCI) Study. This study will build a set of recommendations aimed at increasing transportation options in conjunction with targeted efforts to build out non-motorized infrastructure, increasing available affordable housing stock, and amending the zoning code to allow for the mixing of land use where appropriate.

Brief Scope of Work

ASCID and ARC anticipate the following outcomes from this LCI update to be the following:


  • Identify and prioritize investments in, including but not limited to, bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, smart technology, creative placemaking, and green infrastructure.
  • Promote the creation of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) around planned BRT stations.
  • Identify strategies to incentivize the preservation and stabilization of existing affordable housing and encourage the development of affordable housing in the study area.

All goods and/or services rendered by the Selected Provider(s) pursuant to this solicitation or any resultant contract(s) and/or agreement(s) shall be provided in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local guidelines, laws, and regulations. If requested to do so by the  ASCID, the Selected Provider(s) must provide references and assurances to the ASCID that confirms their abilities and capabilities to meet the requirements, terms and conditions of any resultant contract award(s).
